Now here is a great site for covering the basics in Electronics:

__http://www.twysted-pair.com/down1.htm__ Download Learn Electronics Part One At the above site is a great little free tutorial on basic electricity and electronics. It has great explainations and little animations to help students learn the basic concepts behind electronics. I could see having students going to the site, download the application and use it for drill and practice on the basics in electronics. The site includes a basic tutorial, a practice exercise, and an introduction to troubleshooting. The best parts are - its free and it is well done! If you wish, click on the "Download Learn Electronics Part One" link above and it will start the download immediately and int the process it gives an option of "No questions asked installation", now that is simple.Very user friendly site and again, well done!

Went fishing in SouthWest Wisconsin, had a great time! Caught some nice browns and brookies. Not much rising but soft hackles worked well!

Preparing for Fall

I have plans to start a new certificate program at FVTC entitled "telecommunications Field Service Certificate".
The drafts are done for the course work.
Two classes are written, one more near completion, 1 will be developed by an assistant and I will write the remaining one for fall during the summer.

Tukey Hunting is just around the corner

Check the woods for signs, didn't find many but the signs were in the same place as last year. Driving around the woods proved interesting, on the East side there were 5 turkeys with one Tom in full strut!

2 weeks and counting!

2007 Deer Hunt

Another good!

3 in the freezer, Pat got 1 and I took down two! No antlers this past fall though, the "earn-a-buck" proved to be very frustrating. During the bow hunt, I had 5 bucks near my stand at one time! And, was not allow to shoot!!

Need to go fishing!

The early Trout fishing season is over and I only got out twice. Southwest Wisconsin proved to be great fishing once again!

I also did a run to the Kewaunee chasing Steelheads but I was too late!
